I use visual media to tell stories, and love capturing moments of movement and emotion. My background is in film and the performing arts, mostly behind-the-scenes in the camera or costume departments. What I love about photography is the way it lets me distill a personal or shared experience into a set of images which can be enjoyed and reflected on after the moment has passed.
